Nature Retreats

Friends of Breitenbush Hot Springs events involve being immersed in the relaxing vibes of nature by seeing lots of greenery, breathing fresh air, taking in views, hearing the birds, feeling the wind, etc. The objective is to increase the amount of time spent in wild nature with pleasant company and to create a healthy social community.

Biologically humans have slowly evolved over tens of thousands of years living intimately with nature. There are now many scientific studies showing the health benefits of spending time in natural environments. Living in cities may be necessary for one’s lifestyle, but taking regular breaks from the urban environment can be essential for many people’s well-being.

“With a greater sense of understanding comes a greater sense of wonder and a
greater realization that we are part of and not a part from nature.”   Anil Seth
